    Reader
        A contributor who participates in validation studies by grading model output or producing their own annotations to compare to model output.
    Annotator
        A contributor who provides training data by annotating images.
    Annotation
        A single unit of interpretation of an image.
    Annotation Specification
        A structure, created by an investigator, which defines how annotations are created on an image.
    Annotation Worklist
        A set of :term:`images<image>` and :term:`annotation specifications<annotation specification>`, allowing the images to be annotated.
    Image
        A file uploaded to Datamint. An image might consist of multiple :term:`frames<frame>`.
    Frame
        A single slice of a scan or frame of a video.
